“The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) works to combat the “summer slide” through the Summer Readers Program. Children who do not read over summer vacation tend to lose literacy skills while children who do read tend to improve their reading abilities.” CLiF partnered with the Penacook Community Center, Inc. to reach our young readers through storytelling and free books for each child. In fact, they all got two books to read and then pass on. What a terrific presentation and the most animated story of GoldiLocks I have ever seen.
